Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernard Cremers got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Niceto Daunte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Salvador Garaona came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Kikemania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Garaona couldn't finish the play. Jaime Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niel Van der Perren in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Daunte came free, but Franck vrolijx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Garaona struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Franck vrolijx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kikemania FC. Ubaldo Montel's late challenge caught a Royal Antwerp FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Montel helped the player get up and apologised. Niel Van der Perren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Quilino made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bernard Cremers sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Kikemania FC's zone, Bernard Cremers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Quilino came out of the goal and Bernard Cremers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Sebastian Sas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franck vrolijx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Garaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Salvador Garaona came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kikemania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Garaona couldn't finish the play. Niceto Daunte took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franck vrolijx. Franck vrolijx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 36th minute, Bernard Cremers made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Quilino. Kikemania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Ofelio in the 44th minute of play forced Royal Antwerp FC's goalkeeper Franck vrolijx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Salvador Garaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franck vrolijx. Royal Antwerp FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Garaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half Kikemania FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Daunte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sebastian Sas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franck vrolijx was a little too slow when Niceto Daunte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-3. Royal Antwerp FC's Franck vrolijx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Daunte in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Daunte in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franck vrolijx saved Royal Antwerp FC from getting behind. Ubaldo Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Daunte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck vrolijx having to interfere. Salvador Garaona was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 86th minute Sebastian Sas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Kikemania FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Artaldo. The Kikemania FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kikemania FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
