River de Ramos Mejía's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lóránd Dárdai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of River de Ramos Mejía booed when Csabrendek Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gergely Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Gergely Kovács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Madeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Indartsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Áron Hollósi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Csabrendek Zombies's János Mátrai got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jaime Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Csabrendek Zombies players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
