The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Bruno Del Solar put in a rough tackle. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Lea Papá! When Club 23's Gigel Căliman in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club 23's zone, Cirino Smith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When Victor Stamate fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club 23's protests and gave Victor Stamate a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Stamate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Segovia kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Victor Stamate hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Johnny Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Căliman in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Gelu Mineață got a free kick in the 39th minute. Club Atlético Lea Papá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirino Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute Berea Ion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Cazimir Floroiu made a precise shot to the right of Johnny Reyes. Club Atlético Lea Papá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gigel Căliman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Cirino Smith came free, but Codrin Encica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnny Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berea Ion in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Martín Casagrande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Cristache in the 94th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper Johnny Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Iulian Cristache reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johnny Reyes. The goal made the score 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Club 23 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Lea Papá.
