Domingos Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcides Falcão in the 4th minute of the match. Tomé Igrejas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Los Guacho Pistola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Darien to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Leonardo Orlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes, Ladislao Cordarrel made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Clube de Gaya's Jacinto Quintanilha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Ladislao Cordarrel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Quintanilha. Ermegildo Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Clube de Gaya's Jacinto Quintanilha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Cordarrel in the 30th minute of play. Ermegildo Pereyra hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Alcides Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Cordarrel scored 1-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Quintanilha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Orlin in the 46th minute of play forced Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper Jacinto Quintanilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Quintanilha was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Segundo Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Jacinto Quintanilha got control of the ball when Segundo Darien tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Ladislao Cordarrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Guacho Pistola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. 65 minutes into the game, Los Guacho Pistola's Ladislao Cordarrel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Quintanilha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Alcides Falcão succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-6. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alcides Falcão couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Alcides Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Los Guacho Pistola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Cordarrel to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Tomé Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Cordarrel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Quintanilha came out and tried to block the shot, but Ladislao Cordarrel slotted it home off the left post making it 2-7 in the 90th minute. Jacinto Quintanilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Sporting Clube de Gaya fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Guacho Pistola were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
