An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Jupân in the 8th minute of play forced The Wolfpack™'s goalkeeper Robai Julius Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Wolfpack™'s Brain Van De Gehuchte got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Maxime Van Looy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petrică Vorniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rareș Cosoreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Tudor Lăzan came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Gyepüpataka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Lăzan couldn't finish the play. Daniel de Reyck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Petrică Vorniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel de Reyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gyepüpataka booed when The Wolfpack™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Verhaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robai Julius Carabajal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maxime Van Looy scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petrică Vorniceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Maxime Van Looy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petrică Vorniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel de Reyck during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Wolfpack™'s Daniel de Reyck got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half The Wolfpack™ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Jupân to strike the kick off in the second half. Maxime Van Looy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petrică Vorniceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Maxime Van Looy scored 0-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petrică Vorniceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel de Reyck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Vorniceanu having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Maxime Van Looy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Wolfpack™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxime Van Looy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, The Wolfpack™'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Jupân came free, but Robai Julius Carabajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
