Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Racing Club's Angelo Sayvion started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathaniel Blackmon got free with Damian Quirze in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Sayvion in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Filomeno Venerando got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Enoch Christopher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Quirze showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Sayvion in the 8th minute of play. Santiago Hatch came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Angelo Sayvion. But to his dismay, Angelo Sayvion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Pero in the 14th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Santiago Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marshrose's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Felipo was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Racing Club's Ivan Felipo to fire away a dangerous shot which Santiago Hatch despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 18th minute, Ubaldo Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Blackmon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Marshrose defense, Ezequiel Pero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Hatch. The Marshrose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Hatch should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Sayvion in the 26th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Santiago Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Pero in the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Nerio to maneuver through the defense. Enoch Christopher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Quirze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Racing Club's Ezequiel Pero made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Hatch was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute Ezequiel Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Pero in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Hatch saved Marshrose from getting behind. After 45 minutes, Enoch Christopher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marshrose and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Enoch Christopher got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute Angelo Sayvion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Racing Club were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léon Sweeney was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffry Choi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Sayvion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Hatch having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Myron Gant made a precise shot to the right of Damian Quirze. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Sayvion during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Angelo Sayvion got a free kick in the 69th minute. Serafin Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Santiago Hatch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Sayvion went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. During the 88th minute of the match Angelo Sayvion completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Angelo Sayvion a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Angelo Sayvion hit a great ball. Santiago Hatch made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ezequiel Pero sent off a good shot on target.
