Waldemar Malik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Calvin Miel made a huge save. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

KKS Lech Poznań were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Lunar Park's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ignacy Ruszczyk took the corner. Boruc Praski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. The KKS Lech Poznań manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lunar Park to win.
