In the 5th minute, Marco Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Excelência de Luxe's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Vârjean came free, but João Paulo Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edu Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Vinícius Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Liviu Mușătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson de Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gigel Rânceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Excelência de Luxe's Marco Tróia got a free kick in the 27th minute. João de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gigel Rânceanu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson de Godoi in the 38th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fotbal Club Vaslui's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Wilson de Godoi scored to the left of an out of position Gigel Rânceanu, making the score, 1-0. In the 42nd match minute, Excelência de Luxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Travassos to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Víglundur von der Schulenburg put in a rough tackle. After having played for 46 minutes, João de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Excelência de Luxe's supporters crossed their fingers, but João de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gigel Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson de Godoi in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João de Souza made a kick off. Juan Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gigel Rânceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Liviu Mușătescu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thomás do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. João Paulo Zonta was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Liviu Mușătescu. After 63rd play minutes Wilson de Godoi shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Gigel Rânceanu and just under the crossbar into goal. Juan Mangueira scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Rânceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 played minutes Excelência de Luxe got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Travassos. Marcelo Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Andrei Vârjeans short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got João Paulo Zonta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gigel Rânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Wilson de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gigel Rânceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fotbal Club Vaslui players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Excelência de Luxe.
