Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) mesehor FC's Birsel Özbil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Songurbey Hasret came free, but Gigel Rânceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Geamănu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Şehzade Ortun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Vârjean in the 11th minute. Şehzade Ortun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birsel Özbil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birsel Özbil took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigel Rânceanu. Gigel Rânceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to mesehor FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Birsel Özbil hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Andrei Vârjean made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Birsel Özbil managed to get in a good position for a shot. mesehor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Birsel Özbil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Rânceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alin Geamănu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Atacan Gökkuşağı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Boğaç Onaran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gigel Rânceanu skillfully saved the ball. Songurbey Hasret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gigel Rânceanu made a huge save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
