After having played for 6 minutes, Evrosi Zdravkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DOROSTOL Ss's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evrosi Zdravkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of DOROSTOL Ss booed when Excelência de Luxe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Excelência de Luxe's goal looked a bit too open when Lyudmil Panicharov came free, but João Paulo Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nedelcho Popski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Zonta having to interfere. Vinícius Hoffmann's late challenge caught a DOROSTOL Ss's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinícius Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Excelência de Luxe's Vinícius Hoffmann got a free kick in the 20th minute. DOROSTOL Ss's Lyudmil Panicharov got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Excelência de Luxe's João Paulo Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedelcho Popski in the 23rd minute of play. Tzvetan Andreychin kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, DOROSTOL Ss's Tencho Genchev got control of the ball when Eliseu França tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Adelino Damião fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Excelência de Luxe's protests and gave Adelino Damião a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Excelência de Luxe got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Damião. In the 43rd minute Evrosi Zdravkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Lyudmil Panicharov made a precise shot to the right of João Paulo Zonta. Excelência de Luxe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lyudmil Panicharov to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Toshko Bekirski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DOROSTOL Ss's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Excelência de Luxe the free kick. After some careless play in the DOROSTOL Ss defense, Eliseu França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tencho Genchev. The DOROSTOL Ss fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tencho Genchev should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Eliseu França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tencho Genchev was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 65 minutes into the game, Excelência de Luxe's Eliseu França nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tencho Genchev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jano Lima during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Paulo Zonta made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Evrosi Zdravkov sent off a good shot on target. Jano Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. João Paulo Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyudmil Panicharov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseu França's late challenge caught a DOROSTOL Ss's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseu França helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lyudmil Panicharov during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Eliseu França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Excelência de Luxe's Wilson de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyudmil Panicharov in the 94th minute of play forced Excelência de Luxe's goalkeeper João Paulo Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genadi Gamizov kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Excelência de Luxe could leave the field as winners, despite DOROSTOL Ss having more of the ball for most of the match.
