A collision led to Flodde CFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Georg Tinglöv hit a great ball. Felix Nisporeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl Åhlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Gigel Rânceanu made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Mihnea Fânaru put in a rough tackle. In the 26th match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Fânaru to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Kullander struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gigel Rânceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flodde CFC. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Wallin in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Fotbal Club Vaslui defense, Karl Åhlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigel Rânceanu. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigel Rânceanu should have stopped the shot. If Nils-Åke Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Karl Åhlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flodde CFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Åhlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Nisporeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl Åhlberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Voiculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nils-Åke Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flodde CFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Åke Wallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Rânceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gigel Rânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Åhlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Andrei Vârjean hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Karl Åhlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Wallin in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Nisporeanu during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl Åhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Bokelund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigel Rânceanu having to make a save. Georg Tinglöv hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Nils-Åke Wallin came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Flodde CFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Åke Wallin couldn't finish the play. Víglundur von der Schulenburg hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when Flodde CFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Felix Nisporeanu. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
