Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andrei Vârjean kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Vârjean to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Gigel Rânceanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 7 minutes into the match, Black Devil Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Vârjean came free, but Antonio Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Allemandi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Mugurel Răduț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Rânceanu came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Devil Napoli's Cosimo Brunelli. But to his dismay, Cosimo Brunelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Brunelli came free, but Gigel Rânceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu got control of the ball when Fulvio Alfani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mugurel Răduț kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gigel Rânceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulvio Alfani in the 39th minute. When Liviu Mușătescu came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Fotbal Club Vaslui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Mușătescu couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosimo Brunelli made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Black Devil Napoli's Franco Santovito got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Răduț in the 54th minute of play forced Black Devil Napoli's goalkeeper Antonio Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes, Ermanno Natalucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Devil Napoli and the Fotbal Club Vaslui players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ermanno Natalucci hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Antonio Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Vârjean in the 60th minute of the match. Antonio Baia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Liviu Mușătescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 76 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cosimo Brunelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Devil Napoli's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Brunelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Rânceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Black Devil Napoli's Cosimo Brunelli in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalie prevented a goal. Liviu Mușătescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 97 minutes of play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Liviu Mușătescu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Baia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fotbal Club Vaslui eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
