In the 16th minute, Aurel Halipa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benedicto Beremundo. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 20th minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mugurel Răduț dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Matias Garoa made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrei Vârjean in the 51st managed to get into a good position. Benedicto Beremundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Halipa went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Benedicto Beremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Mușătescu in the 64th minute of the match. Aurel Halipa scored 6-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Beremundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Andrei Vârjean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Aurel Halipa made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Beremundo. Depor Alex Return's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Liviu Mușătescu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fotbal Club Vaslui had played much better football throughout.
