The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Lech Max got a freekick which was hit by Patryk Tomporowski. 8 minutes into the game, Black Devil Napoli's Cosimo Brunelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olaf Mis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lech Max! When Mariusz Modliszewski came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Lech Max fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariusz Modliszewski couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Lech Max getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Iwan Pyrzyce hit a great ball. Antonio Baia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariusz Modliszewski's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. A hard shot 27 in the game by Mariusz Modliszewski from a close distance when the talented Antonio Baia managed to make a qualified save. Black Devil Napoli's players were relieved. Mariusz Modliszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Antonio Baia made a huge save. Olaf Mis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Brunelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lech Max getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Janusz Smolak hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Cosimo Brunelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Mis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Smolak during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Lech Max got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Smolak. Lech Max's Mariusz Modliszewski got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 40 in the game by Mariusz Modliszewski from a close distance when the talented Antonio Baia managed to make a qualified save. Black Devil Napoli's players were relieved. 43 minutes into the game, Mariusz Modliszewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lech Max's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Devil Napoli the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lech Max's Mariusz Modliszewski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Adam Wachna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Black Devil Napoli were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosimo Brunelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Mariusz Modliszewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Baia was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Donato Astolfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Santovito kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Mariusz Modliszewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Baia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Aleksander Czeszyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes, Mariusz Modliszewski made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Black Devil Napoli's Antonio Baia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Black Devil Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Wachna came free, but Antonio Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lech Max booed when Black Devil Napoli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Allemandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Lech Max were the better team. Lech Max's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
