Ştefan Gârniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Pero in the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes FC Lutanu got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Baldovin. Ştefan Gârniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Geambașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Aurelio Pero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lutanu's Ştefan Gârniceanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ştefan Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Viorel Baldovin lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 21 minutes into the game, one of FC Lutanu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 27 played minutes FC Lutanu got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Geambașu. Isidoro Ibañez charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Ibañez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Lutanu booed when Manantiales Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Geambașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Geambașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Haroldo Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Celso Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manantiales Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Dino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Gârniceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Pero in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ştefan Gârniceanu saved FC Lutanu from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavril Burnei was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC Lutanu getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Denis Sitaru hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Ştefan Gârniceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Rivas. Gavril Burnei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Haroldo Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Ştefan Gârniceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Ibañez. 59 minutes into the game, FC Lutanu's Gavril Burnei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Charro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ştefan Gârniceanu made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Aurelio Pero sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Isidoro Ibañez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manantiales Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 71 minutes of play, FC Lutanu's Gavril Burnei made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Charro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Aurelio Pero notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC Lutanu's Ştefan Gârniceanu. Ştefan Gârniceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gavril Burnei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the game, Manantiales Fc's Aurelio Pero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ştefan Gârniceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 83rd match minute, Manantiales Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Laffitte to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Rivas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ştefan Gârniceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When Aurelio Pero fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manantiales Fc's protests and gave Aurelio Pero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Manantiales Fc getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Aurelio Pero hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manantiales Fc's goalkeeper Haroldo Charro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ştefan Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Pero in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ştefan Gârniceanu saved FC Lutanu from getting behind.
