Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luisito Raebert started the match with the kick off. Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Aragua FC from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Nemesio Emeterio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boni Arregui. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 11th minute, Remigio Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cordarin Alberete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Fabricio Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Cerezo came free, but Fabricio Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Evaristo Berasko fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacando del Medio's protests and gave Evaristo Berasko a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sacando del Medio! In the 27th minute Luisito Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boni Arregui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Oihan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Barrionuevo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Raebert in the 34th minute of play. When Sacando del Medio's Luisito Raebert in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Aragua FC's goalie prevented a goal. Abelardo Barrionuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boni Arregui having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Oihan during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Atletico Aragua FC booed when Sacando del Medio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Luisito Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacando del Medio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Raebert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boni Arregui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Raebert in the 64th minute of play. Nemesio Emeterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boni Arregui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Emeterio in the 69th minute of play. Rodrigo Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmacio Oskarbi during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sacando del Medio getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dalmacio Oskarbi hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Prudencio Oihan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sacando del Medio could leave the field as winners, despite Atletico Aragua FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
