Stig-Inge Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Elorri during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when Sacando del Medio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Haug in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 minutes of play, Kjønstad BF's Andreas Leite made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabricio Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the game, Luisito Raebert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Stig-Inge Nordmark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Prudencio Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anton Rossebø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Sjøberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Torres having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Leite in the 24th minute of play forced Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Fabricio Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Anton Rossebø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kjønstad BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Rossebø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjønstad BF's Stig-Inge Nordmark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Kjønstad BF from getting a goal against them. Kjønstad BF's Andreas Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Kjønstad BF got a freekick which was hit by Jon Fischer. The crowd rose to their feet as Abelardo Barrionuevo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stig-Inge Nordmark. That made the score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisito Raebert made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Andreas Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kjønstad BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Higinio Isias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
