In the 20th minute, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Alonzo Meili dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Clodoveo Llanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Lyons's Clodoveo Llanos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederick Wertscher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Llanos in the 40th minute of play forced Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Frederick Wertscher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tin Trudeau received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abelardo Rainerio came out and tried to block the shot, but Tin Trudeau slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianluca Stempfel in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Rainerio saved Lyons from getting behind. Adan Ramond struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Frederick Wertscher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyons. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lyons players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ämmer Sportfreaks.
