After a rather tough play, Vampiros Aztecas's Mario Peli got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Charles Cheepers fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Schoonwater's protests and gave Charles Cheepers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Cheepers to maneuver through the defense. Laurenz Kerselaers scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Orzaize, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Lando to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marc Saelens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enzo Cordarius hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Jeremias Orzaize was a little too slow when Marc Saelens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-6. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jeremie Verhengen hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes, Vampiros Aztecas's Ildefonso Ponce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicky Rauvoets came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vampiros Aztecas reached it. In the 73rd match minute, Vampiros Aztecas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Veto to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Orzaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter-Jan Roelandts in the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vampiros Aztecas's zone, Laurenz Kerselaers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Orzaize came out of the goal and Laurenz Kerselaers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Matthias Persoons replaced Charles Cheepers. After a rather tough play, Vampiros Aztecas's Enzo Cordarius got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Nicky Rauvoets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Lando in the 95th minute of play. KV Schoonwater played a much better game than Vampiros Aztecas and deserved their victory. The Vampiros Aztecas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
