Mayhem Sharks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Balaban Yürük scored to the left of an out of position Marcelo Alves, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Tiago Gabriel de Moraes got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Baykan Yağıztekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 24 minutes on the clock, Tiago Gabriel de Moraes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Mayhem Sharks getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel de Moraes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Abdulkerim Kaçan managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOTUS's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulkerim Kaçan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Alves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baykan Yağıztekin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. With a little luck, Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves got control of the ball when Mehmet Akif Yağın tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When Fehmi Torum fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOTUS's protests and gave Fehmi Torum a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, one of LOTUS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LOTUS. Evren Serkut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Meira in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Baykan Yağıztekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Pitta. LOTUS's Abdulkerim Kaçan suffered a concussion in the 94th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Waldir Vaz's late challenge caught a LOTUS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldir Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Mayhem Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Vaz to maneuver through the defense. LOTUS's Berker Rıza Alanson was substituted for Cafer Uğural. After 96 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Vaz. Abdulkerim Kaçan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Alves. Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcelo Alves came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by LOTUS's Baykan Yağıztekin. But to his dismay, Baykan Yağıztekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LOTUS had played much better football throughout.
