Nicky Rauvoets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 11 minutes of play, Lauta Army's Teodor Baltadzhiev made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicky Rauvoets was left in no man's land by his defense there! Branislav Tropchev hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Mito Momin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Roelandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pieter-Jan Roelandts kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mito Momin. That made the score 1-2 in the 14 minute of play. In the 18th minute Bozhin Tumangelov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Rauvoets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the KV Schoonwater defense, Tzvetelin Saparevski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicky Rauvoets. The KV Schoonwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicky Rauvoets should have stopped the shot. Mito Momin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Saelens in the 24th minute of play. Ancho Kenanov kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Mito Momin had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Pieter-Jan Roelandts from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as KV Schoonwater's Charles Cheepers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mito Momin. That made the score 2-3 after 33 minutes of play. In the 43rd minute Teodor Baltadzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Rauvoets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicky Rauvoets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bozhin Tumangelov, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Bozhin Tumangelov made a precise shot to the right of Nicky Rauvoets. KV Schoonwater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After the first half Lauta Army were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bozhin Tumangelov made a kick off. Nicky Rauvoets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Baltadzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicky Rauvoets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostol Ploskov in the 58th minute of play. Mito Momin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter-Jan Roelandts in the 64th minute of the match. Mito Momin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurenz Kerselaers in the 67th minute of play. Gilles Wenderix's late challenge caught a Lauta Army's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilles Wenderix helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gilles Wenderix hit a great ball. Nicky Rauvoets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bozhin Tumangelov, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Tzvetelin Saparevski came free, but Nicky Rauvoets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodor Baltadzhiev's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicky Rauvoets firmly grabbed it by the left post. Laurenz Kerselaers charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurenz Kerselaers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Laurenz Kerselaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilles Wenderix kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Nicky Rauvoets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bozhin Tumangelov in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Lauta Army's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter-Jan Roelandts came free, but Mito Momin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
