Jardim Botânico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 26th match minute, Jardim Botânico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Travassos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Arthur Morgan´s Club's zone, Guto Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Remir came out of the goal and Guto Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Travassos's late challenge caught a Arthur Morgan´s Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jardim Botânico getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Carlos Travassos hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Raitin was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Arthur Morgan´s Club got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Etxeberri. After 58 played minutes Jardim Botânico got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Valle. Kléberson Santos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Jeronimo Raitin made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Marquez. Jardim Botânico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Raitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basílio Marquez was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Linares couldn't finish the play. Guto Linares hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Basílio Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Raitin in the 85th minute of the match. Ariel Etxeberri hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Valles short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Eloy Remir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
