Pedro Paulo Cruz started the match with the kick off. Alkinoos Pappayiorgas hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute Pedro Paulo Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hektor Kalogeria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardim Botânico's Pedro Paulo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jardim Botânico's zone, Akheron Dimakakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ademar Leme came out of the goal and Akheron Dimakakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Leukothoe Lipsanos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 20th minute, Akheron Dimakakos made a precise shot to the right of Ademar Leme. Jardim Botânico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 22 played minutes Jardim Botânico got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Valle. When ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Leukothoe Lipsanos in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ademar Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 34th minute, Leukothoe Lipsanos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademar Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Ademar Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nessos Blades, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ademar Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leukothoe Lipsanos in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leukothoe Lipsanos to strike the kick off in the second half. Ademar Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leukothoe Lipsanos in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leukothoe Lipsanos in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Leme saved Jardim Botânico from getting behind. The supporters of ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ booed when Jardim Botânico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ademar Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leukothoe Lipsanos in the 55th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Leukothoe Lipsanos sped through Jardim Botânico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ademar Leme. Ademar Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leukothoe Lipsanos's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Lefteris Christodoulou seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lefteris Christodoulou the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lefteris Christodoulou had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Jardim Botânico. Gonçalo Valle stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hektor Kalogeria. 1-6. 68 minutes into the match, Jardim Botânico's goal looked a bit too open when Akheron Dimakakos came free, but Ademar Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Gonçalo Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme got control of the ball when Salmakis Pezos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ademar Leme was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Akheron Dimakakos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Akheron Dimakakos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. 86 minutes into the game, Nessos Blades cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Ademar Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ademar Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akheron Dimakakos in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jardim Botânico defense, Salmakis Pezos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Leme. The Jardim Botânico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Leme should have stopped the shot.
