The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekaitz Grau in the 10th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Hans Baunbæk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Frede Holts took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Anko Bravo to make any attempt to save it. 15 minutes into the game, FC Nordsjælland's Marcos Kunst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anko Bravo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 17 played minutes Nubecitas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gillermo Teruel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Kunst during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute of the match Jacobo Gomar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hans Baunbæk skillfully saved the ball. 27 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Odilon Rivas came free, but Hans Baunbæk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Kunst took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anko Bravo. Anko Bravo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Frede Holts sent off a good shot on target. Kirstein Luvard lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Hans Baunbæk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odilon Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 37 played minutes FC Nordsjælland got a freekick which was hit by Anders Boutrup. A collision led to FC Nordsjælland getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Anders Boutrup hit a great ball. Nubecitas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Nordsjælland the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Kunst was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC Nordsjælland getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Karl Hermer hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nubecitas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Nordsjælland.
