Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Gaston Matthew made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Norberto Leite reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rene Tristan. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Norberto Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. MEXACOMX's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Tristan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gaston Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Hélio Granja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MEXACOMX and the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute of the match, Nuno Candeias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rene Tristan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Norberto Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Acosta in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimas Camargo saved MEXACOMX from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Acosta in the 29th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Dimas Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimas Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alfredo Osório kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Gaston Matthew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dimas Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Leite in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Paulin to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, MEXACOMX's Nuno Candeias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rene Tristan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MEXACOMX reached it. Dimas Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Matthew in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Matthew came free, but Dimas Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When MEXACOMX's Norberto Leite in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalie prevented a goal. The long shot by Carlos Gerazan in the 72nd minute really tested Dimas Camargo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dimas Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Norberto Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Paulin during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute of the match Alfredo Osório shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Tristan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The MEXACOMX fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when MEXACOMX's Norberto Leite looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Ponte to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Justo Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Guerrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Gerazan to maneuver through the defense.
