Spectators: 7554 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Quirós started the match with the kick off. Romel Torrijos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Burni, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Buenaventura FC's Romel Torrijos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Buenaventura FC from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Tomaso De Diego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Quirós took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaias Quirze. Isaias Quirze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Romel Torrijos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Tancredo in the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Buenaventura FC's Romel Torrijos got control of the ball when Israel Santo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Ramon Tancredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romel Torrijos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Buenaventura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomaso De Diego didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Matai to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Mercado Paulista F.C's Sergio Burni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romel Torrijos. Romel Torrijos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Ramon Tancredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romel Torrijos having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Santo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Buenaventura FC's Romel Torrijos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Santo in the 59th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Rolando Peralta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaias Quirze. Rolando Peralta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Victor Toledano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes, Natalio Ralondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mercado Paulista F.C and the Buenaventura FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Buenaventura FC booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Luis Mancio got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Israel Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romel Torrijos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Quirze was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Christian Quirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christian Quirós really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Romel Torrijos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Santo in the 91st minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Buenaventura FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
