With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Oso in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eli Villalobos saved GreenUnited from getting behind. 7 minutes into the game, Eusebio Loramendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cebollitas F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GreenUnited the free kick. Eusebio Loramendi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Txeru Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GreenUnited's supporters crossed their fingers, but Txeru Montaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txeru Montaña got free with Eriberto Enmanuel in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the game, Txeru Montaña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eriberto Enmanuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Mero came free, but Eli Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to GreenUnited getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. William Allonca hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Oso in the 23rd minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Eli Villalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, William Allonca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Antoniano during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gartzen Pons charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gartzen Pons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, GreenUnited's Gartzen Pons got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Eusebio Loramendi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. GreenUnited's Txeru Montaña couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cebollitas F.C.. GreenUnited's Eli Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Oso in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Fernanco in the 45th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Eli Villalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eli Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Fernanco in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Candido Oso to make the kick off. When Berasko Gordo fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GreenUnited's protests and gave Berasko Gordo a yellow card for diving instead. If Rolando Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Txeru Montaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Enmanuel was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Txeru Montaña put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eriberto Enmanuel. After 73 minutes of play, GreenUnited's Txeru Montaña made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Enmanuel was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rolando Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Txeru Montaña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cebollitas F.C.'s Eriberto Enmanuel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When William Allonca came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the GreenUnited fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Allonca couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Txeru Montaña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Enmanuel. Cebollitas F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Txeru Montaña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Txeru Montaña sped through Cebollitas F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eriberto Enmanuel. GreenUnited were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cebollitas F.C. for a fine match.
