Vítor Pádua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Johans in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Salvador Curado got a free kick in the 11th minute. Vítor Pádua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goalkeeper Geronimo Hegoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudemiro Coelho. Altamora FC's Vítor Pádua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Gartxot in the 23rd minute of play. Eustaquio Cordera's late challenge caught a Altamora FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Cordera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Eustaquio Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, António Colaço managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altamora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Colaço was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Papillon AC's zone, Claudemiro Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Hegoi came out of the goal and Claudemiro Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saturnino Tercero's late challenge caught a Altamora FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Tercero helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Tercero. If Maurício Quinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Maurício Quinaz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geronimo Hegoi. The goal made the score 1-0. When Claudemiro Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Altamora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudemiro Coelho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Segundo Pere got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Altamora FC booed when Papillon AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Claudemiro Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Gartxot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Altamora FC's Claudemiro Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurício Quinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maurício Quinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Ellande during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Altamora FC's Emílio Águas was substituted for António Raminhos. Lucio Ellande hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Amancio Diagur charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Diagur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amancio Diagur hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Salvador Curado didn't quite understand what happened when in the 71 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Claudemiro Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Geronimo Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maurício Quinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vítor Pádua was a little too slow when Eugenio Gartxot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-1. Maurício Quinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Hegoi having to interfere. If Emílio Águas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Lizar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Vilanova in the 87th minute of play forced Papillon AC's goalkeeper Geronimo Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudemiro Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Geronimo Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play Papillon AC's Amancio Diagur was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Amancio Diagur kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Vilanova came free, but Geronimo Hegoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Johans. In the 94th minute, Claudemiro Coelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altamora FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Altamora FC had played much better football throughout.
