Potentia's Ate Rogaars seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ate Rogaars the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of S.C. Potentia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ate Rogaars had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 30 minutes into the game, one of S.C. Potentia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After taking down the ball on Expedition Lubin's corner Grzegorz Raschke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Naci Ünüvar quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grzegorz Raschke to strike the kick off in the second half. Potentia's Harry Tamminga pulled a muscle in his leg after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Stanislaw Rosiewicz's late challenge caught a S.C.
