The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Dimitrie Kuypers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Dalwhinnie Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for The Dalwhinnie Boys. Dimitrie Kuypers stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tímon Weiner. 0-2. Tímon Weiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izaak Pierewaaijer in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Rein Pilage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Dalwhinnie Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave B68 Toftir the free kick. After 22 played minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Rein Pilage. Robin Meier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tímon Weiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izaak Pierewaaijer in the 26th minute of play. Robin Meier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Arne Tellingen made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Felicien Zehntner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the B68 Toftir defense, Ivo Lodewijks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tímon Weiner. The B68 Toftir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tímon Weiner should have stopped the shot. Tímon Weiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitrie Kuypers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Ivo Lodewijks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tímon Weiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Ivo Lodewijks made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tímon Weiner was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robin Meier to strike the kick off in the second half. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Arne Tellingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Meier in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Robin Meier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Tellingen was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Frits Schrage received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tímon Weiner came out and tried to block the shot, but Frits Schrage slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 58th minute. Arne Tellingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Suter in the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in B68 Toftir's zone, Elco Theuws stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tímon Weiner came out of the goal and Elco Theuws tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tímon Weiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Ploeger, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 71st match minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Sleiffer to maneuver through the defense. Arne Tellingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Izaak Pierewaaijer notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of B68 Toftir's Tímon Weiner. Tímon Weiner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Frits Schrage got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Gerwin Bogarde took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tímon Weiner. Tímon Weiner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Izaak Pierewaaijer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Tímon Weiner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izaak Pierewaaijer in the 96th minute of play forced B68 Toftir's goalkeeper Tímon Weiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Dalwhinnie Boys's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
