Cătălin Dăianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Ortle, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Augustin Gorjanu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save FC GURZUN from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Ildefonso Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Gorjanu in the 29th minute of play. After 41 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Gorjanu. In the 43rd minute, Viorel Brădescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Cătălin Dăianu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Quinto went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Quinto in the 59th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Ildefonso Ortle made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. FC GURZUN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Gaviotas FC's Rodolfo Ursino was substituted for Godfredo Quinteros. Gaviotas FC's Santiago Oliverio was substituted for Anastasio Arce. The FC GURZUN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cătălin Dăianu should have stopped the shot. Cătălin Dăianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Quinto in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Rodolfo Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when FC GURZUN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Ştefănoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gaviotas FC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Gaviotas FC's Rodolfo Ursino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Rodolfo Ursino charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Ursino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC GURZUN booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gaviotas FC had played much better football throughout.
