The Swindon Sweden FF fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Swindon Sweden FF's Michael Lundgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Pettersson in the 24th minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Swindon Sweden FF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Michael Lundgren hit a great ball. Luisito Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Springfält having to interfere. When Luisito Olo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Celtic FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Olo couldn't finish the play. In the 30th match minute, Swindon Sweden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilgot Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. Celtic FC's Robustiano Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Rydelius in the 32nd minute of play. Noel Lejland hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to Celtic FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Luisito Olo hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Michael Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robustiano Eyague was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Michael Lundgren made the kick off in the second half. Robustiano Eyague made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Lundgren in the 53rd minute. Celtic FC's Robustiano Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Lundgren in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Celtic FC's Robustiano Eyague got control of the ball when Noel Rydelius tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Michael Lundgren notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Celtic FC's Robustiano Eyague. Robustiano Eyague was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Rydelius in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Eyague saved Celtic FC from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, Swindon Sweden FF's Michael Lundgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Eyague narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Swindon Sweden FF's Noel Lejland was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robustiano Eyague in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Robustiano Eyague was a little too slow when Michael Lundgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-5. Michael Lundgren did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Robustiano Eyague 84 minutes into the match. Michael Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Robustiano Eyague made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Robustiano Eyague successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 93 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Lundgren came free, but Robustiano Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Swindon Sweden FF played a much better game than Celtic FC and deserved their victory. The Celtic FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
