The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Vargas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Akira アキラ got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Antunes. In the 53rd minute of the match, 麦珂益 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Alberto Branco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jefferson Marinho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match.
