Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The Owls's Liviu Achimescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Boldklubben Skjold got a freekick which was hit by Runar Bever. 4 minutes into the match, Boldklubben Skjold's goalkeeper Ronald Straale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Achimescu. Liviu Achimescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Ronald Straale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Traian Arsene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liviu Achimescu struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ronald Straale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Owls. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Gronild in the 13th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Ion Crivac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Thye hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ronald Straale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liviu Achimescu in the 22nd minute. After 26 played minutes Boldklubben Skjold got a freekick which was hit by Frans Ousted. A collision led to Boldklubben Skjold getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Martin Gronild hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, The Owls's Traian Arsene got a free kick in the 28th minute. A hard shot 36 in the game by Traian Arsene from a close distance when the talented Ronald Straale managed to make a qualified save. Boldklubben Skjold's players were relieved. In the 38th minute, Liviu Achimescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronald Straale. The goal made the score 1-0. Liviu Achimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ronald Straale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keld Thye kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Instead of passing the ball, Iustin Chira made a really hard long shot towards goal. Boldklubben Skjold's Ronald Straale realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. In the 45th minute, Iustin Chira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liviu Achimescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Liviu Achimescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Owls's supporters rose to their feet, but Liviu Achimescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Straale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogdan Vornicu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boldklubben Skjold's zone, Liviu Achimescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Straale came out of the goal and Liviu Achimescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liviu Achimescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronald Straale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Achimescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Bogdan Vornicu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ronald Straale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Owls. Ronald Straale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Huștea, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The The Owls fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when The Owls's Liviu Achimescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 80th minute, Liviu Achimescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liviu Achimescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bogdan Vornicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liviu Achimescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Straale having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Liviu Achimescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ronald Straale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronald Straale came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by The Owls's Traian Arsene. But to his dismay, Traian Arsene quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Owls fully deserved thier win.
