The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mieszko Czysta during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Piotrków Trybunalski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Czysta to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rakkestad IF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nils-Christian Vagle hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Piotrków Trybunalski got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Juroszek. 24 minutes into the game, Rakkestad IF's Christian Halstensen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kazimierz Skaradoski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Kenneth Friis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mieszko Czysta in the 34th minute. Nils-Christian Vagle hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Halstensen in the 39th minute of play forced Piotrków Trybunalski's goalkeeper Kazimierz Skaradoski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Halstensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Skaradoski having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Kacper Domala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piotrków Trybunalski and the Rakkestad IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Piotrków Trybunalski getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kacper Domala hit a great ball. When Rakkestad IF's Christian Halstensen in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piotrków Trybunalski's goalie prevented a goal. The Piotrków Trybunalski players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rakkestad IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piotrków Trybunalski the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Halstensen got free with Kazimierz Skaradoski in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mieszko Czysta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kenneth Friis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Szymon Tobaczewski hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Domala came free, but Kenneth Friis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rakkestad IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
