Martin Erramu started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estefan Besteo got free with Jeronimo Abella in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estefan Besteo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Jeronimo Abella skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 11 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Jeronimo Abella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Estefan Besteo. Jeronimo Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estefan Besteo in the 12th minute of play. Estefan Besteos short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Jeronimo Abella to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Jeronimo Abella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE F.C. from getting a goal against them. Garcia Ozana charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garcia Ozana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Garcia Ozana kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Herrera during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, one of INDEPENDIENTE F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for INDEPENDIENTE F.C.. After 24 played minutes Swift GTi got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Leceta. When Leon Aragones fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s protests and gave Leon Aragones a yellow card for diving instead. Leon Aragones hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jax Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Erramu in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Clausen to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Leceta's late challenge caught a INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio Leceta helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Estefan Besteo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jeronimo Abella. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Jeronimo Abella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE F.C. from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 73 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Martin Erramu. After 74 played minutes, Swift GTi's Joao Postigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeronimo Abella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Swift GTi reached it. 77 minutes into the game, Martin Erramu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swift GTi the free kick. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE F.C. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Martin Erramu hit a great ball. Jeronimo Abella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Estefan Besteo's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. booed when Swift GTi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garcia Ozana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Swift GTi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. for a fine match.
