Marco Umbruso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Taavi Varm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leon Platense. After a rather tough play, FC RockOil's Hans Ojakäär got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes, Leon Platense's Saul Beltza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taavi Varm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leon Platense reached it. Kuido Lend charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kuido Lend the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Adrian Quin fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leon Platense's protests and gave Adrian Quin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Leon Platense getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Adrian Quin hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Marco Umbruso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanel Kurvits in the 27th minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Cecilio Garci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Gabriel Bilbo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marco Umbruso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 minutes, Kuuno Kaalep mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC RockOil and the Leon Platense players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Leon Platense booed when FC RockOil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuuno Kaalep didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, FC RockOil's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Beltza came free, but Taavi Varm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Beltza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Taavi Varm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Umbruso in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Leon Platense booed when FC RockOil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauno Landi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Beltza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Taavi Varm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 67 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Marco Umbruso. After a defensive mix-up in FC RockOil's zone, Marco Umbruso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taavi Varm came out of the goal and Marco Umbruso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Leon Platense booed when FC RockOil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuido Lend didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taavi Varm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Beltza in the 76th minute. The Leon Platense supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leon Platense would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
