After a rather tough play, EL PEPO FC's Tomás Satordi got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fidel Hibai hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ilie Armeancas short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Melquiades Patxi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Denis Bologa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Sabin Nicolae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Bălașa having to interfere. Avram Valerian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Melquiades Patxi made a huge save. Camilo Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Melquiades Patxi made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ilie Armeanca sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Valerian in the 28th minute of play forced EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandru Chiriloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Patxi having to interfere. The supporters of EL PEPO FC booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Târban didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Rafael Clodio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marius Bălașa skillfully saved the ball. Avram Valerian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in EL PEPO FC's zone, Alexandru Chiriloaie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Patxi came out of the goal and Alexandru Chiriloaie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Clodio to strike the kick off in the second half. 1-0 became the score in the 53rd minute when Sabin Nicolae elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 56 minutes, Fidel Hibai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL PEPO FC and the Juventus Țiu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Avram Valerian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Patxi was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Melquiades Patxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Chiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 70th match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Argider to maneuver through the defense. Mugurel Buda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Patxi. EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sabin Nicolae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Melquiades Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Herauso hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Armeanca in the 80th minute of play forced EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabin Nicolae couldn't finish the play. Denis Guerrero hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Sabin Nicolae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Patxi came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus Țiu's Avram Valerian. But to his dismay, Avram Valerian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Juventus Țiu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
