Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Galati Harbour Cats's Jo Bag started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petruț Vlăsiu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cosmin Claudiescu hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jo Bag kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robustiano Frederik. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Jo Bag might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robustiano Frederik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jo Bag ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardino Pabla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Agachi having to interfere. Galati Harbour Cats's George Agachi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Cordera in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Adrian Baldazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Zurdo FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Pabla. 29 minutes into the match, Jo Bag notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Zurdo FC's Robustiano Frederik. Robustiano Frederik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Galati Harbour Cats's Jo Bag in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zurdo FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Vali Ghețea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Galati Harbour Cats's George Agachi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Cordera in the 46th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petruț Vlăsiu during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Zurdo FC booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Vlăsiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Pabla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Vali Ghețea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Corneliu Hurmuzescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters rose to their feet, but Corneliu Hurmuzescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Frederik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robustiano Frederik came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Corneliu Hurmuzescu. But to his dismay, Corneliu Hurmuzescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. George Agachi made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Hipolito Cordera sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Galati Harbour Cats's George Agachi got control of the ball when Santo Quinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zurdo FC's Robustiano Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Bag in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Bag in the 95th minute of play forced Zurdo FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Frederik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Galati Harbour Cats players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
