Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Inger started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levi Gloz in the 8th minute of play forced STARGARD FC's goalkeeper Lance Haßke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes STARGARD FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Thieme. 10 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's Frido Sandkühler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lance Haßke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herwig Fehr took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lance Haßke. Lance Haßke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Zahnleiter in the 19th minute of play forced STARGARD FC's goalkeeper Lance Haßke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20th play minutes Herwig Fehr shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Lance Haßke and just under the crossbar into goal. After 23 played minutes, SV Bad Harzburg's Emanuel Schrappe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lance Haßke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SV Bad Harzburg reached it. Lance Haßke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herwig Fehr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SV Bad Harzburg's Gerald Zapf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SV Bad Harzburg from getting a goal against them. Forusan Feix hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jim Siekemeier hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The SV Bad Harzburg fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when SV Bad Harzburg's Thorsten Kristl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lance Haßke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorsten Kristl in the 32nd minute of the match. Fred Inger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Gerald Zapf made a huge save. After 38 minutes, Rouven Knabe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Bad Harzburg and the STARGARD FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerald Zapf was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Clemens Schall capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clemens Schall really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Lance Haßke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorsten Kristl in the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, STARGARD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herwig Fehr came free, but Lance Haßke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herwig Fehr to strike the kick off in the second half. STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Zahnleiter in the 57th minute of play. Lance Haßke was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Levi Gloz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Levi Gloz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. In the 72nd minute, Emanuel Schrappe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Wiggo Letsche. The crowd rose to their feet as Levi Gloz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lance Haßke. That made the score 1-7 in the 91 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Fred Inger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STARGARD FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. The SV Bad Harzburg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
