Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) OSASCO FC's João Pedro de Sena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnaldo Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Dick Browall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nils-Åke Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Thomas Hjälm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 played minutes Köping got a freekick which was hit by Paul Lustig. Dick Browall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Köping's Dick Browall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Köping from getting a goal against them. Köping's Thomas Hjälm got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, OSASCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Per-Erik Allbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano de Carvalho having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, OSASCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Lustig came free, but Luciano de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro de Sena scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dick Browall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Hjälm in the 31st minute of play forced OSASCO FC's goalkeeper Luciano de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Browall made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when João Pedro de Sena sent off a good shot on target. Per-Erik Allbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano de Carvalho having to interfere. A hard shot 36 in the game by João Pedro de Sena from a close distance when the talented Dick Browall managed to make a qualified save. Köping's players were relieved. In the 39th minute, Márcio Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dick Browall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro de Sena in the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Köping's Dick Browall got control of the ball when Conrado Donatello tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Hjälm was the one to do the kick off. If Arnaldo Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dick Browall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When OSASCO FC's João Pedro de Sena in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Köping's goalie prevented a goal. When Nils-Åke Arvidsson fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köping's protests and gave Nils-Åke Arvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. Nils-Åke Arvidsson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes of play, OSASCO FC's João Pedro de Sena made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dick Browall was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of OSASCO FC booed when Köping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Hjälm didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Pedro de Sena struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Dick Browall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OSASCO FC. After 69 minutes Köping's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hamílton Sanches who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Köping's zone, João Pedro de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dick Browall came out of the goal and João Pedro de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. OSASCO FC's Zeca Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, OSASCO FC's João Pedro de Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dick Browall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. João Pedro de Sena struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dick Browall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OSASCO FC. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 5-0 when João Pedro de Sena sped through Köping's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dick Browall. Conrado Donatello took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dick Browall. Dick Browall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 90th match minute, Köping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Lustig to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro de Sena in the 91st minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Dick Browall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfred Juhlin fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köping's protests and gave Alfred Juhlin a yellow card for diving instead. Hamílton Sanches was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. OSASCO FC had won after a very even match.
