Augusto Handi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Augusto Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mendoza Vinuesa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, AL TOKE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urrutia Iruretagoyena came free, but Augusto Handi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garrido Eguia hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, AL TOKE FC's goalkeeper Augusto Handi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guerrero Freije. Edgardo Calona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Augusto Handi. AL TOKE FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guerrero Freije hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 52 minutes, Rene Bazil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AL TOKE FC and the Real Guayaquil.F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AL TOKE FC's Rene Bazil got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Ellande during the 53rd minute.
