It was a penalty for Black Dragons! Sergen İmar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dominic Sciocchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Sciocchetti in the 33rd minute of play forced Çanakkale's goalkeeper Şinasi Tanzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Flemming Garzoli fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Dragons's protests and gave Flemming Garzoli a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Black Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Flemming Garzoli. In the 77th minute, Güven Hüsrev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Altan Behram to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Çanakkale booed when Black Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Theiss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergen İmar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Berardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlyas Tolga Balkır, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Çanakkale played a much better game than Black Dragons and deserved their victory. The Black Dragons players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
