Ragnar Kjellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Berardi having to interfere. Black Dragons's Arnaldo Berardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Black Dragons from getting a goal against them. When Flemming Garzoli fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Dragons's protests and gave Flemming Garzoli a yellow card for diving instead. Black Dragons's Arnaldo Berardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Kjellbom in the 28th minute of play. Black Dragons's Arnaldo Berardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Black Dragons from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Dragons's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl Nyström was slow to take the kick. During this time Gotham City's players had a chance to rest. After 35 minutes, Lovis Camiscia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Dragons and the Gotham City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Black Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lovis Camiscia to maneuver through the defense. Black Dragons's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Ragnar Kjellbom scored to the left of an out of position Arnaldo Berardi, making the score, 2-0. After 41 played minutes Black Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Severin Fieschi. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Ragnar Kjellbom made the kick off in the second half. If Arman Fanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gotham City's Thor Haström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Gotham City from getting a goal against them. Black Dragons's Arnaldo Berardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arman Fanström in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Black Dragons's Marten Cina got a free kick in the 58th minute. Gotham City's Karl Nyström got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Black Dragons's zone, Arman Fanström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Berardi came out of the goal and Arman Fanström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Berardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Kjellbom in the 64th minute of play. If Marko Grubb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Berardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Kjellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Dominic Sciocchetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Dragons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominic Sciocchetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominic Sciocchetti in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Haström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Drewitz in the 87th minute of play forced Black Dragons's goalkeeper Arnaldo Berardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Black Dragons defense, Arman Fanström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Berardi. The Black Dragons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Berardi should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gotham City had played much better football throughout.
