Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martin Hansen kicked off to start the match. A collision led to AEK FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Asgeir Lam hit a great ball. When Odd-Eirik Hasle fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AEK FC's protests and gave Odd-Eirik Hasle a yellow card for diving instead. Odd-Eirik Hasle kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ascacibar-Pérez's zone, Martin Hansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Endira came out of the goal and Martin Hansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Endira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Nordanger in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ascacibar-Pérez's Eduardo Txindoki got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sturle Ottersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, AEK FC's Åge Undheim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ladislao Endira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Ascacibar-Pérez's Ismael Vela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ole Lorentzen. Ole Lorentzen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Vela got free with Ole Lorentzen in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ladislao Endira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Hansen in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Ascacibar-Pérez getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Eduardo Txindoki hit a great ball. Ladislao Endira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Bjørsvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ladislao Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sturle Ottersen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ascacibar-Pérez getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Augusto Teyo hit a great ball. Åge Undheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Endira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Hansen in the 38th minute of play forced Ascacibar-Pérez's goalkeeper Ladislao Endira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Odd-Eirik Hasle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Endira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Hansen's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Figueroa to make the kick off. AEK FC's Ole Lorentzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Montay in the 54th minute of play. If Jesus Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Sturle Ottersen took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ladislao Endira to make any attempt to save it. 84 minutes into the game, Martin Hansen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ladislao Endira. Martin Hansen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 93 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Asgeir Lam. In the 95thth minute of the game Martin Hansen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ascacibar-Pérez's Ladislao Endira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Ascacibar-Pérez supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AEK FC's performance. The match ended with a win for AEK FC.
