When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustinian Tutuianu made a kick off. Dedê Trigo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carpathians's Felix Cernat. But to his dismay, Felix Cernat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 59th minute Vasile Socoriceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Iustinian Tutuianu notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Juventudes Libertárias's Dedê Trigo. Dedê Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Tutuianu in the 93rd minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Dedê Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Juventudes Libertárias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Dedê Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Cernat in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carpathians had won after a very even match.
