The audience thought a goal was coming when Tarak Ayari got free with Falcão Monteiro in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Arce hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César da Mata made a kick off. After 51 played minutes TIMETER EC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Luz. When Rashid Ben Yahia fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Symba's protests and gave Rashid Ben Yahia a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Symba got a freekick which was hit by Rashid Ben Yahia. After 59 minutes, Tarak Ayari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Symba and the TIMETER EC -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, César da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 69 minutes into the match, Symba's goal looked a bit too open when César da Mata came free, but Habib Zaalani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Symba's Chedli Habib Benfrej got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Habib Zaalani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Habib Zaalani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but César da Mata showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 86 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, César da Mata took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Habib Zaalani to make any attempt to save it.
