Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ingemar Eckegren took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umberto França was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingemar Eckegren hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Juarês Cardoso took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt Holmberg. Bengt Holmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Umberto França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Borre in the 12th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umberto França was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the game, Ingemar Eckegren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Umberto França was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Umberto França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Eckegren in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Caskinha Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Borre came free, but Umberto França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto França having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Peder Ahlkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polar Ice Caps fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Umberto França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Ingemar Eckegren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Umberto França was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Peder Ahlkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Umberto França. Caskinha Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peder Ahlkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Umberto França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-7 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juarês Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ingemar Eckegren might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Umberto França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingemar Eckegren ran back to his position shaking his head. Umberto França made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein sent off a good shot on target. Ingemar Eckegren scored 1-9 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto França, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Umberto França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. In the 72nd minute Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Polar Ice Caps's Peder Ahlkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-11. In the 84th minute, Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein made a precise shot to the right of Umberto França. Caskinha Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-12. 88 minutes into the game, Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Umberto França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-13. Juarês Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt Holmberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Umberto França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 95th minute of play. Polar Ice Caps's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
