But to his dismay, Duda de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cícero de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo de Carvalho hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Rômulo Neiva was a little too slow when Dorival de Queiroz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 23 minutes, Gerson Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flores da Cunha - RS and the Izaltina FAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Flores da Cunha - RS getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gerson Koehler hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Flores da Cunha - RS's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorival de Queiroz. Rômulo Neiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorival de Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Donato in the 34th minute of play. Rômulo Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Donato in the 36th minute of the match. Rômulo Neiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duda de Sousa in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Flores da Cunha - RS's Rômulo Neiva got control of the ball when Dorival de Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Flores da Cunha - RS's zone, Emerson Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Neiva came out of the goal and Emerson Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
