The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Shantala got free with Habib Zaalani in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Mikeldi. If Astor Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Arroyito FC's zone, David Khcharem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Jago came out of the goal and David Khcharem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Symba's Habib Zaalani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Symba from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Borhene Sélim Haj Ali put in a rough tackle. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Arroyito FC. Aldo Shantala stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Habib Zaalani. 1-0. In the 42nd minute of the match, Aldo Shantala got a very nice opportunity to score, but Habib Zaalani was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 46th minute, Chedli Habib Benfrej got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Habib Zaalani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aldo Shantala showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 48 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The audience was convinced that Domingos Leguizamón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Habib Zaalani was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Symba's goalkeeper Habib Zaalani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldo Shantala took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Habib Zaalani. Habib Zaalani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After having played for 69 minutes, Domingos Leguizamón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arroyito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Leguizamón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dante Totakoxe fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arroyito FC's protests and gave Dante Totakoxe a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Totakoxe. Mohamed Dhouib took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Jago. Arroyito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Aldo Shantala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Symba's Habib Zaalani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 78th minute of the match Dante Totakoxe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dante Totakoxe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 79 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Totakoxe. Habib Zaalani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Mikeldi in the 90th minute of the match. Astor Mikeldi struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Habib Zaalani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arroyito FC. Domingos Leguizamón blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Habib Zaalani having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Arroyito FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
